On Friday, two days after he talked a suicidal man down from an Atlanta skyscraper, T.I. has been sentenced to go back to jail for 11 months for violating the terms of his probation, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

T.I. asked U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. for mercy and not to return him to jail, saying he had “screwed up” and needed help for drug addiction. T.I. told the judge:

“I want drugs out of my life. If I can get the treatment and counselling I need …I can beat this,”

T.I. left prison this past March after a year long stay on federal weapons charges.

T.I. stars alongside seasoned actors Matt Dillon, Idris Elba, and Zoë Saldana in next month’s action-packed thriller Takers, but it was acting newcomer Chris Brown who took him by surprise.

“Chris was cool, man. I think Chris gonna impress a lot of people,” Tip told Power 106’s Luscious Liz of his on-screen co-star. “He does a lot of high performance, action sequences. He shows his ability. I think people will actually be presently surprised with his performance.”

The superstars have worked together musically as well as on screen now and there could be future collaborations to look forward to. “I don’t see why not,” said Tip. “As long as the appropriate opportunity presents itself and the song [is right], I don’t see why not. I ain’t against that.”

T.I.  told MTV News that he and Gaga have recorded a song called ‘Lick It’ for the album, he added “We gonna go back in and record some more songs,” he revealed. “But the one we have right now is entitled ‘Lick It.’ I think we both have a tendency to shock the world in a lot of different ways.”

Recently released rapper T.I. has said that he wants to grow his clothing line Akoo and make it one of the best in the urban apparel market.

He told MTV News US: “The direction of the clothing line, in my eyes, is upscale urban apparel,” Tip said in an interview. “I just wanna continue to diversify. Continue to grow. Continue to speak to the cool kids of America. That’s my idealistic outcome. It’s all gonna be comfortable. Everything is gonna be comfortable, casual.”

He added: “To me, we got V-neck tees, crew-neck tees, wovens. Denim is a big part of the lines. We actually pride ourselves on the quality of our denim, especially at the price point we at. We got fleece. We got a lot of imagery, distinctive imagery on our pieces that sets us apart from everything else going on out there.”

Who’s interested?

It’s been nearly four years, but Diddy is back and ready to drop a new album on us.

Last Train To Paris is the name of the forthcoming album and will be released under the name Diddy-Dirty Money, with his two band members.  He’s racking up quite a collection!

Artists featured on this new project include Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, T.I., Swizz Beatz and Bilal – seems like everyone right?

Diddy told Rap-up.com: “We have most of the game that called excited about being on the album. It doesn’t sound feature heavy. They sound like they’re a part of the movement and part of the sound. I think this is one of my best albums and I’m truly blessed to have these two queens [Dawn and Kalenna] beside me.”

He added: “You get to tell a story—it’s a love story about finding love, losing love, and getting it back again. I’m a man, I can’t tell a woman’s side. These are two beautiful, courageous young women and they tell the truth on the album. I think this is an album that’s innovative, creative, and exciting, and it’s something the game needs.”
