After receiving some backlash, Lloyd has taken to his blog to clarify some remarks he made about Chris Brown’s performance at Sunday’s BET Awards.
He’s back with a vengeance,” Lloyd told Rap-Up.com after the show, where he was nominated in the Viewer’s Choice category for his hook on Young Money’s Bed Rock…..I think that they’re gonna find a place in their heart for him again. … I told him, man, you gotta get up there. You gotta cry, you gotta really show your heart to the world.”
The statement above fuelled rumours that he told Brown to cry during his Michael Jackson tribute, so in response, Lloyd stated “I consider Chris a friend. He’s been through a lot in the past couple years,” Lloyd wrote.
“I never told him to go onstage and cry. We spoke recently, and I told him as a friend that people hadn’t really seen him be vulnerable about his situation last year (with Rihanna). I thought he was holding back and needed to let that emotion out. Him crying at the BET Awards was real, I could feel it.”
He also speculated about the possible source of those tears, saying Brown may have cried “about the fact that he thought people would hate him forever because of one mistake.

“Feeling that love on stage was probably overwhelming. Plus MJ being gone and him performing Man in the Mirror, that song is powerful, especially for his situation. It pushed him over the edge.”
Lloyd also lashed out at the “many blogs and fans” who saw his original statement as a negative comment on Brown. “To say that he was faking or that I’m hating on him, that’s some bullsh**t,” he said.
“Last week Essence.com asked me what artist most embodied MJ. I told them it was Chris. I never saw MJ perform live, but Chris is the closest thing I’ve witnessed. Chris is back, and I’m just as excited as his fans are.”

Michael Jackson fans will be moonwalking next to the King of Pop in no time – thanks to the new video game set to be released by Ubisoft Entertainment.
The unnamed game will be among the first to use new motion-detecting camera systems to be available later this year for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3. The announcement was made Monday at the E3 video game show in Los Angeles. The game will also work with hand-held controllers on Nintendo’s Wii and on the smaller Nintendo DS and PSP portable console from Sony.
The game’s launch will roughly coincide with the planned sale of a new album containing unreleased Jackson recordings in November.
Ubisoft marketing vice president Tony Key says as part of the game, players will learn how to mimic the late Jackson’s signature moves. Key says, “You are going to learn to moonwalk.”
Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson is blaming his wife for Michael’s death.
In a video interview with the News of the World, Joe claims his wife could have saved her son’s life if she had kept a closer eye on him. Prior to Michael’s death, his dad told Katherine that their son was “looking kinda funny and frail,” but says his wife refused to approach her son.

Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson has stated he claims his son’s life could have been saved after a new report reveals the singer was resuscitated for ten minutes – an hour after he suffered cardiac arrest.
Excerpts from Jackson’s lawsuit document, which were printed by the News of the World states: “At 13:21 hours or 1:21pm, the nurses and physicians at UCLA detected a weak femoral pulse and cardiac activity for Michael Jackson.”
“At 13:22 hours he showed cardiac activity. At 13:33 he showed a weak ventricular rhythm (contracting of the lower heart chambers).”
The report went onto confirm that the legendary Billie Jean singer was breathing after receiving treatment at hospital.
Joe Jackson, who has publicly stated flaws in his son’s death, has said the new evidence is ‘damning’ and the King of Pop’s doctor, Conrad Murray should be imprisoned.
The lawsuit against Murray continues after reports suggest the doctor made a series of bad choices resulting in Jacko’s death aged 51.
He has been accused of stopping CPR to hide drugs, including the drug Propofol from paramedics, which is thought to have caused the singer’s cardiac arrest.
Only today reports of Michael’s medical stash has been released including 39 tubes of skin whitening cream which Jacko used to treat the disease Vitiligo.
Lawyers for Michael Jackson’s estate have also dismissed reports that Jacko left behind a ’secret wife’ when he died last June.
TMZ.com, who famously broke the news of Jacko’s death reports that his lawyers claim: “Michael Joseph Jackson did not have a surviving spouse. He was not married at the time of his death”.
