He also went on to talk about his Rolling Stone Magazine cover shoot, something which he seemed to be very excited about. He wrote on Weezy Thanx You:
Hello World & Fellow Martians! I hope you enjoyed my Saturday Night Live performance. I can’t describe what it felt like being back in my element….I wanted to share some behind the scenes photos from my Rolling Stone photo shoot. The shoot was in Miami two weeks ago and just being able to do this type of stuff again is therapeutic.

Lil Wayne is BACK! Released earlier today, the rapper was officially allowed to walk free from the Rikers Island Jail facility, New York from serving 8 months of his 1 year sentence, after pleading guilty to the attempted criminal possession of a weapon.
After the short ‘Free Weezy’ campaign, there is no doubt the camp, family, friends and fans will be celebrating tonight. Let’s hope the rapper can stay on this side of the bars for good.

I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for Sean however I feel as if I haven’t gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I’m being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress. ….I’d like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing… But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games.”

The 23-year-old explained: “It was a humbling experience and one thing he told me when I went to visit him was ‘Bow, this ain’t for us… This ain’t built for cats like us. Don’t do it man, just stay out of trouble. You and Drizzy, stay clean, stay doing what y’all do, y’all can do this forever. All of this, it ain’t worth it.’
“I knew he meant it, cause Tune never lectures me,” Bow Wow explained. “He was serious.”

Bow Wow, who joined the Cash Money label a year ago, also said Lil Wayne is keen to tour when he is released. “When he gets out, we definitely plan on this Young Money/Cash Money tour: myself, Nicki, Drizzy, Wayne and the whole entire family.”
