Here’s the making of Kanye West’s newest music video ‘Power’ with artist and director ‘ Marco Brambilla.
POWER shows a continuous camera move from extreme close-up of Mr. West revealing an a neoclassical video tableau showing characters and creatures surrounding him in an abstract environment – all moving in extreme slow motion.
Inspired by Michelangelo’s frescos in the Sistine Chapel, the piece depicts a faux historical moment – an empire on the brink of collapse from its own excess, decadence and corruption.

Kanye West is reported to have refused to allow his ’date’ to order a cookie because it was “too fattening” when they stopped at a cafe earlier this month.
“When Kanye’s girl tried to order a cookie, he said no and gave her a hard time because it was too fattening,” a witness said, Life & Style reports.
Kayne himself opted for a latte and a blueberry muffin, the witness revealed…

Kanye’s back and with a bang!! Debuting his latest song Power – who’s missed him?
In the excerpt below – read 50 Cent’s interview with Rap-Up, as he goes on to talk about music and possible collaborations for the future!
Rap-Up: What do you think about Drake?
50 Cent:I don’t really. I guess he’s cool. He has momentum with his music, but the things that he’s able to do are things that I’m not permitted to do ’cause of the perception of me. The aggression in my music is translated the strongest and they expect that from me every time. It kinda works for me and works against me at different points. [Drake's] a great singer also; we like the part when he starts to sing on the chorus. He just put out a whole R&B song ["Find Your Love"]—like there’s no rap on it, it’s just an R&B record. That is what Kanye West was permitted to do with 808s & Heartbreak, to make a complete love song or an R&B record. I won’t be permitted to do that because they expect me to kill someone on the song. They just want that from me because I’ve had that type of energy in my actual experience and they feel like it’s special or authentic in some way when I offer that.
Rap-Up: Would you want to do an R&B record?
50 Cent: Not an R&B record, but just music that has those melodies in it. I probably wouldn’t perform the singing portion of the songs, but to make an album like that, yeah, it would be cool.
Rap-Up: Are you open to a collaboration with Drake?
50 Cent:Yeah, why not? He’s talented. I ain’t taking nothing away from his talent and Kanye too. We never had any issues with me saying they weren’t talented artists. It was more of a conscious decision to compete [with Kanye] to stir up some energy.
What do you think and are you looking forward to it - could it really work?
With ratings out of 10, Nicki Minaj recently went through her top men on the music scene and the list included Usher, 50 Cent, Trey Songz, Robin Thicke and speaking to Funkmaster Flex she went on further to explain why Kanye West’s super-ego impresses her.
“Usher, I always liked his, you know, (body) and he’s a great dancer. (Laughs) Robin is a very sexy appealing man, whenever I see him, he looks like a doll. (Trey Songz has) a body to die for.
“If I’m being honest, I’ve never been into the real sexy dude, the dude that do sexy faces and stuff, I don’t even like when girls do that. 50’s cut. (Laughs) 50’s cut. 50’s also, big cut. Kanye’s cockyness makes him a ten. That’s the same with 50 too. They’re so over-the-top confident.”

Complex: What do you like about hip-hop today?
M.I.A.: I think Kanye is trying to take it into a new realm and he’s sort of putting the artistry back into it and sort of taking it in that direction. I was having a conversation about Jay-Z and Nas and how it was really crazy how they were having this Nas vs. Jay-Z moment 10 years ago and no one really talks about it now.
Did you decline a tour with Kanye?
M.I.A.: Because I was pregnant. I know Kanye makes it out to be this big thing, like, “She dissed me when I asked her to do a song.” Then he was like, “Then you said no to me and my tour.” I was about to have a baby! But I love Kanye, I think he’s been super-consistent, everything he’s done has been good. I like his interaction with the media, too—he’s just him, and he’s living it.
Sources are saying Kanye West signed a multi-million dollar contract with ex-girlfriend Amber Rose to “silence” her from speaking about his personal life.
The insider says, “It’s pretty common to have ’silence’ agreements amongst entertainers. I heard that Amber’s getting seven figures to keep her lips closed.”
Although you may wonder what Kanye MAY have to hide, Amber Rose has reportedly agreed to never reveal any details about the rapper in return for cash.
