New attitude and vibe – what you thinking guys??

The ‘Harry Potter’ actor has been so busy working he has failed to keep up with the current music scene and has now given up trying to know what is popular.

He said: ‘I’m so out of the loop when it comes to pop culture that I kind of don’t even try anymore. Only heard Justin Bieber for the first time two weeks ago. I genuinely thought it was a woman singing. I’d never heard it before.’

While the 21-year-old star admits to being clueless about current music, he could soon be a chart rival to Justin after admitting he has been having singing lessons and honing his vocal talents by singing in karaoke bars with his ‘Harry Potter’ co-stars.

He told MTV News: “I love karaoke. I am one of those people [who says], ‘No, no, I can’t, I couldn’t possibly, no I won’t… all right, give me the mic!’ And then I’m elbowing other people out of the way to get to the stage.’

Speaking about a recent karaoke night, he added: ‘I sang Elvis Presley’s ‘Hound Dog.’ That, and then I did ‘Feeling Good’ by Muse. That was my proudest moment, because I actually did that rather well. I was really pleased, because I can sing.

‘I’ve been having singing lessons for two and a half years. I’m not amazing, obviously, but I’m all right.”

Justin Bieber recently revealed he is on a hunt for love and wants a girl who is funny, confident and umm, doesn’t wear Ugg boots.

Do you meet the above criteria, Justin might be interested in spending some time with you as long as you fit his mould of the ‘perfect’ woman. He says: “I like someone who’s funny, confident and not afraid to be herself….I think Uggs are ugly. And I think big sunglasses are kind of overrated. I like big sunglasses but not those huge, round ones.”

Florence & The Machine, Dizzee Rascal, Tine Tempah, Ellie Goulding, 30 Second To Mars, Kelly Rowland, MGMT and Justin Bieber are a few names to add to the list but music and royalty meshed this weekend as Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton were spotted enjoying sets from Ellie Goulding and Tinie Tempah.

Today was Day 2 and had performances from the likes of Rihanna, JLS, Ke$ha, Jason Derulo, Marina And The Diamonds, Pendulum, Paramore, Pixie Lott, Vamire Weekend and Paolo Nutini.

The Canadian teen sensation was rushed through the terminal building to escape hoards of screaming teenagers, who stole his hat as they stampeded.  He later tweeted: ‘Finally got to New Zealand last night. The airport was crazy. Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on people.’

Justin’s mother wasn’t hurt when she was knocked over, and later tweeted fans to say she was OK.  She wrote: ‘Thanks for all ur support!! I’m ok thank you!!!(sic)’

Police told the singer to axe plans to sign autographs and take pictures with fans amid fear the crowd would get further out-of-control, prompting many of the waiting group to burst into tears. Justin later implored fans to calm down or face other signing opportunities being scrapped.

He tweeted: ‘I want to be able to sign and take pics and meet my fans, but if you are all pushing security won’t let me. Let’s keep it safe and have fun. (sic)’

Hoards of teenage fans also forced the cancellation of a scheduled appearance by the 16-year old star in Sydney, Australia, earlier this week.  Police reported ‘mass scenes of hysteria” and 10 girls fainted as they waited through the night to watch their idol perform. Paramedics treated the injured on the scene, and the worst injury was to one fan who fractured their kneecap.
