The actress turned possible singer said one of her dream collaborations would be with Jay-Z.

“I think we’d be a good combination. He is a genius — and I’m his biggest fan.”

She went on further to say there have talks about a record deal!!

Jay-Z is said to have teamed up with Will and Jada Pinkett Smith on a new business venture!!

The mega star has joined the Hollywood couple’s production company Overbook Entertainment to develop and produce movies, with the first one being a remake of ‘Annie’, which will also star Will and Jada’s daughter Willow. Jay-Z said:

The Overbrook Entertainment family and I have a unified vision. We’ve already produced a Tony Award-winning play and we’re developing a true superstar in Willow. This venture into film development and production is a perfect next step with teams that are accomplished, creative, and innovative.”

The trio – who teamed up last year to bring, hit musical ‘Fela!’ to the Broadway stage – will co-produce the film.

The teenage rapper may only have finished fourth on Simon Cowell’s talent show, but many within the music industry felt she was the most credible performer.

According to the Sun, Jay-Z was among those who believe Cher has a big future as a recording artist and has now won the race to sign her.

A source revealed: ‘After weighing up the pros and cons, it was thought that the team at Roc Nation would be best placed to turn her dreams of stardom into a reality.’

The contract sees Cher join Roc Nation’s roster of rising female stars, which already included Willow Smith, Rita Ora and Bridget Kelly.

Cher’s decision to link up with Jay-Z is sure to disappoint Will.I.Am, who had hoped to sign the youngster after duetting with her during The X Factor final.

The Black Eyed Peas singer, who is a close friend of Cher’s X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole, recently revealed on Twitter that he had already recorded a track with Cher. He tweeted:

Jay-Z is currently in the UK, promoting his new book, Decoded and found time to kill the rumors suggesting that his wife, Beyoncé, was pregnant.

Having previously dismissed the reports saying the press should ‘change the subject’, has now reiterated it in an interview with Tim Westwood that Beyonce is definitely NOT expecting their first child.

Speaking about the pregnancy allegations on Westwood’s Radio 1 show, the rapper stated: “No. It’s not true first of all. But imagine that. I couldn’t even fathom that…..But this is the fifth time they’ve done this. I wonder when the people are going to say, ‘OK. We’ve done this four times already.”

He added: “When that happens I’ll let everyone know. I definitely would not let the papers know before anybody else.”

Rihanna is taking a new turn in her career as the pop superstar has signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. After parting with her longtime manager Marc Jordan of Rebel One Entertainment since the start of her career when signed by Jay Z to Def Jam in 2005.
The star is said to be elated with the new move stating;

[I'm] so excited to take this next step in my career,” in The Associated Press statement.

Plans are said to be underway to launch a new company called Rihanna Entertainment that will “merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance fashion, and book ventures.”

Beyonce Knowles better brush up on her lullabies.

The 29-year-old singer is pregnant with her first child, the new Us Weekly reports.

Despite the happy news, no one was more surprised than the singer herself.
B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” says a source of the singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.”
Still, another insider says that the singer, who is in her first trimester, realizes that “this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.

Lady Gaga wore her controversial meat outfit at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles last night and swept up as she was nominated for a record 13 awards and took home an amazing 8 trophies at the awards ceremony!!

When accepting the main award ‘ which was presented to her by Cher ‘ an emotional Gaga said: “I was so nervous tonight that I’d let my fans down.

”I promised that if I won this tonight, I’d announce the name of my new record.”

She then went on to tell the excited crowd her new album would be called ‘Born This Way’, before singing part of the title song.

Gaga also won an award for Best Pop Video, Best Female Video and Best Collaboration ‘ for her ‘Telephone’ duet with Beyonce Knowles ‘ and she thanked her fans for their support : “Tonight, little monsters, we’re the cool kids at the party.”

Other winners at the show ‘ which was held at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater and was hosted by Chelsea Handler ‘ included Eminem, Justin Bieber and Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

Right at the helm was of course Jay-Z, earning an estimated $63 million!! Jay-Z also topped last year’s list, pulling in $35 million, which means Jay-Z will be paying the tax man a whan amazing…. $22 million this year.
