Hey guys!
Just wanted to check in with you and let you know what’s been going on!! To those of you who made it to the Wireless Festival last weekend and watched Jay Z headlining - I’m sure you had an amazing time as I did - but for me Jay Z killed it on stage!!
I went down there with Amy Winehouse and Dionne Bromfield and it was good to catch up with some of the other artists around like Kelly Osbourne, Wiley, Roll Deep, Lewis Hamilton, Lily Allen, Princess Nyah, Bluey, Slash and I also met Madonna for the first time too.
We made our way to back to Jay Z and Beyonce’s hotel later on to hang out, and it was fantastic to hear Beyonce comment on me and my work “I’ve heard so much about about you….don’t worry it was all good”I knew then obviously Amy had been telling her about my project!!
Ex Sugababe Keisha Buchanan has spoken broken her silence since she was controversially ousted from the group as the last original member almost a year ago. In a recent positive and bubbly with interview Punch Bowl, the ex babe talks briefly on the direction of her debut solo album, management, recent leaked material, as well as clarifying her current relationship with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation since leaving the group. With no set date for her album as yet, we await the return of Keisha to the UK scene with high expectations from this short but promising clip. Take a look below.
RocNation’s latest J. Cole came out during Jay-Z’s set to perform ‘A Star Is Born’ at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park last weekend. What do you think?

Missy Elliott got kicked off the stage at Wireless for exceeding her set time limit.
Right in the middle of Lose Control, the music got turned off, and she was forced to leave the stage amid a sea of boos. Guess it didn’t help that she was 20 minutes late for her set at London’s Hyde Park for the 2nd day of the music festival, though she did try to make up for it by staying on for extra time, after performing hits like Work It and Pass That Dutch.
Snoop Dogg followed on and got the audiences jumping with hits Gin & Juice, Who Am I (What’s My Name?) and Signs. He dedicated a number of songs to the “beautiful ladies” including Beautiful, Sensual Seduction and Drop It Like It’s Hot, before performing a tribute to his West Coast buddy, the late Tupac Shakur.
“Tupac, we love you, we miss you, rest in peace,” he led the crowds.
Jay-Z headlined the closing night of Wireless, supported by Lily Allen in one of her ‘final’ live performances, Slash and Friendly Fires.

Rihanna catches up with movie critic and GG Blogger Ben Lyons – can you guess what she talks about?
Rihanna talks Drake, Rockstar, Travis Barker, Rockcorps and the Last Girl On Earth USA Tour from The Good Friend Network on Vimeo.
Check out the improptu U Stream session with Drake as he plays Lil Wayne’s previously unheard ‘Light Up’ verse which he recorded via the phone in Rikers Island.
Drake has been kicking butt at his gigs here in the UK with Jay Z but also recently spoke to the NY Times about Rihanna, the material they worked on last year for her new album but didn’t get released; the two soon after began seeing each other regularly, though they never publicly confirmed their brief ‘relationship’. Drake said:
I was a pawn…You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear,” he said. “I was like, wow, this feels terrible.”
Finally all the rumours have been confirmed! Tinchy Stryder is set to go into business with Jay -Z it was revealed today.
Tinchy hinted on his Twitter that he was to meet the hip hop mogul at his show in Manchester on Monday night, and after finally meeting him for the first time, it has been confirmed the two have signed a big-bucks deal.
Jay-Z’s “Roc Nation” has signed Tinchy’s management company in it’s first European venture. The new leg of the company will be called Takeover Roc Nation and will release records with Sony Music and tickets with Live Nation.
Tinchy also met Beyonce & Drake for the first time during his brief meeting in Manchester.
The UK rapper is currently in Barbados filming his official single from upcoming album “Third Strike”. The single is called “In My System” and is due to be released in summer.

M.I.A. is back and features on the cover of Complex Magazine’s latest issue. Here’s an excerpt from the interview where she talks about the Kanye West ‘rejection’, catching up with Jay-Z & more:
Complex: What do you like about hip-hop today?
M.I.A.: I think Kanye is trying to take it into a new realm and he’s sort of putting the artistry back into it and sort of taking it in that direction. I was having a conversation about Jay-Z and Nas and how it was really crazy how they were having this Nas vs. Jay-Z moment 10 years ago and no one really talks about it now.
Did you decline a tour with Kanye?
M.I.A.: Because I was pregnant. I know Kanye makes it out to be this big thing, like, “She dissed me when I asked her to do a song.” Then he was like, “Then you said no to me and my tour.” I was about to have a baby! But I love Kanye, I think he’s been super-consistent, everything he’s done has been good. I like his interaction with the media, too—he’s just him, and he’s living it.
