In a recent interview insert below, Ciara talks about wanting to work with Dizzee Rascal and opens up about her recent video Ride (featuring Ludacris) getting banned.

“Making the video was a very organic process. It was really more of a way of complimenting and pulling out the vibe of the record. I don’t wanna force anything. It was definitely a surprise to me to hear it wouldn’t be played on BET. To be honest, when I reviewed the video, I did prepare myself for it to be cut in a few places or tweaked slightly, but I wasn’t prepared for it to be banned totally.”

Jayden and the rest of the gang got to hang out with the original “Karate Kid” on the red carpet at the Mann Village Theater in Westwood yesterday. 

 Jackie Chan who plays the modern day version of Mr Miyagi, Ciara, Taraji P. Henson, Quincy Jones and  Arsenio Hall.

The Smith family, Jada and Will Smith, Trey and sister Willow Smith,  took to the red carpet to show support to Jayden and they all looked stars!

So “Ride,” featuring Ludacris is casuing ripples in the media pond!!

The grinding and risque’ choreography, has been reportedly removed from BET and they will no longer play it. It’s not the first video they have not played by Ciara though. According to Ciara’s fan site:

Although fans were already skeptical about BET being the only network that had not premiered Ciara’s “Ride” video, it was not until last night that fans were TRULY enlightened. During Ciara’s Ustream chat, Ciara’s grandma, Grandma Gladys let a “cat out of the bag”. Ironically, though many “non-family friendly” music videos have been shown on the channel in the past, “Ride” has not been accepted onto the network.

Hmmmn….

Doing it very differently this time round as CC shows off her rap skills. The official video for ‘Ride’ is set to be out later this week, and ‘Basic Instinct’ (the album ) will be out this summer.
