Chris Brown has taken to Twitter to announce the name of his up and coming single, ‘Calypso‘ produced my Polow Da Don. This is set to follow the success of “Deuces” which is now holding the number one spot on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Chart, with the biggest jump on the chart since Destiny’s Child’s “Bills Bills Bills” from #7 to #1 in a single week. ‘Calypso’ as Chris put it, is said to be ‘a song that women have been missing’ from him.

“Takers” is centered around a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies…But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case!!!

The UK release date has still not been set but it’s out this weekend States side!! What do you think?

Drake revealed he recently had a studio session with Rihanna’s ex boyfriend and R&B star, Chris Brown

Drake spoke to Extra: “I’ve been working all night. I’ve just been in the studio. I was actually in the studio with Chris Brown for a little bit. Then I was studio hopping, seeing where I can lend my hand since I’ve done mine.”

After his very emotional tribute to Michael Jackson at the BET Awards 2010 (to be aired THIS Saturday), a lot of stars have expressed their love for Chris, this including Cassie, Marios, Lloyd and Keri Hilson.

Katy Perry catches up with US radio station, Kiss FM, earlier this week to promote her latest single “California Girls”. The host talks about her friendship with Rihanna, Chris Brown and Katy revealed her plans on wanting her to strip at her bachelorette party!!

Chris Brown was supposed to be touring in Europe this month, but after tweeting this statement : 

SORRY to all the fans in Europe!!! my tour is cancelled,” he tweeted. “Im pretty sure yall know. my entry was denied in your country. i love you.SORRY!!”

Its seems its not going to be happeneing any time soon.  Is this down to his convictions of late? Can that be a reason for the rejection of his visa.  To make the murky waters in the gossip pool even worse -  the tweet was deleted later without any further explanation….

R&B singer CHRIS BROWN and rapper BOW WOW were left red-faced during a recent night out in New York City, after they failed to crash a star-studded party hosted by rap crew CASH MONEY.

The Kiss Kiss hitmaker and the hip-hop star reportedly crashed a listening party for rapper Drake’s new album at MSR studios, hosted by bosses at his incarcerated mentor Lil Wayne’s record label on Wednesday (02Jun10).

The pair were reportedly turned away because they weren’t on the invited guest list – but it wasn’t the only rejection the duo faced that night.

According to the New York Post, the pals were turned away again by security at another hotspot, celebrity nightclub SL – because their entourage was too big.

A source says, “They showed up with a huge entourage all trying to get in, but they were totally denied at the door.”

It’s been nearly four years, but Diddy is back and ready to drop a new album on us.

Last Train To Paris is the name of the forthcoming album and will be released under the name Diddy-Dirty Money, with his two band members.  He’s racking up quite a collection!

Artists featured on this new project include Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, T.I., Swizz Beatz and Bilal – seems like everyone right?

Diddy told Rap-up.com: “We have most of the game that called excited about being on the album. It doesn’t sound feature heavy. They sound like they’re a part of the movement and part of the sound. I think this is one of my best albums and I’m truly blessed to have these two queens [Dawn and Kalenna] beside me.”

He added: “You get to tell a story—it’s a love story about finding love, losing love, and getting it back again. I’m a man, I can’t tell a woman’s side. These are two beautiful, courageous young women and they tell the truth on the album. I think this is an album that’s innovative, creative, and exciting, and it’s something the game needs.”

Brown’s attorney said the star had completed almost 300 hours of community service – that’s about a fifth of the amount he is required to perform.

His laywer Mark Geragos added he had also attended all but one of 52 mandatory domestic violence counselling sessions.  Chris is due back in court on 26 August for another status hearing. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg stated on Thursday it seems the singer is making progress and requested a formal probation report.

Mark Geragos, whose previous clients include the late Michael Jackson, said Chris was expected to complete his counselling in October.

During an interview with Q94 radio station to promote his benefit concert for Haiti – Chris Brown ended up arguing with the radio host…then storms out of the studio!!

Chris Brown complains at the lack of airtime on the station, asking the radio host why he wasn’t playing any of his records and DJ Kash replies with:

Mr. Chris Brown, you just don’t have any hits and that’s just the truth. You don’t have any hits right now.”

CB says::

All I’m saying is that you don’t play my sh*t. What number is it (my song) at? It don’t matter. Why am I even doing this interview? I ain’t doing this sh*t!”

The radio host has since reported that he’s received several phone calls from executives at Jive apologizing for their artist’s “diva-like” behavior. DJ Kash also denies claims that he altered the audio to shed Brown in a negative light. He took to his Twitter page to set the record straight.

“For the record, my interview with Chris Brown was posted with the entire amount of audio I got minus dead air. I tightened it up for radio play. Apparently blogs are thinking I edited it to make homeboy look like a d**che, but no editing can create that level of d**che-bagery.”
