Chipmunk and Chris Brown have been busy with early promotion for their much anticipated track ‘Champion’. Check out the footage below of behind the scenes onset of the video, directed by Colin Tiley.

So, the battle has began! Less than a week later, there is a rival version of the latest Grime track to cause a stir on the streets of the UK, ‘POW 2011′.

As posted earlier, the remix of the 2004 hit ‘POW’ now features some of the UK best MC, including Kano, Chipmunk, and Dizzie Rascal to name a few on the updated version.

**NEW VERSION OF POW!!** For those that didn’t know, I WAS on the original of POW 2011, But because I wasn’t given a fair 16Bars like Kano I decided to hop off & do my own version turning 8 Bars into 80!! Eddie Kadi made history this weekend as the first black UK comedian to headline The O2 arena, UK!!
He fully engaged and entertained the crowds with his hilarious comedy stylings and brought along some showbiz pals to help!! Chart-toppers N-Dubz were down without Dappy, but in true Eddie style, he stepped and become the 3rd member for a rendition of “Number One”

Celebrity fans who supported Eddie on the night included UK Artists Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Kano, McLean, DJ Tim Westwood, TV personality and Radio 1 DJ Reggie Yates, comedian Kojo, Eastender Rudolph Walker, not to mention the surprise performance from Tinie Tempah.

Inspired by the ‘Stronger’ singer because of the way he refuses to conform to stereotypes, Chipmunk says ’Kanye changed hip-hop culture itself. I don’t wear skinny jeans, but he does and gets away with it. I respect that.’

The UK star also blasted his critics, who have accused him of selling out by making commercially successful records. He said: ‘Some people think, ‘He’s making pop songs now because he’s signed, they changed him….No, I wanted to make some pop songs so I did. If you want to hate me, hate me. For every 10 that hate me, 10,000 love me.’

Chipmunk recently said he wants his collaborations to become more unpredictable.

He said: “Collaborations are nice at first. It gives new artists a leg up. But I don’t want people to expect who is gonna be on my next album and for them to actually appear on it.”
