In a rare move, especially by a new artist, Jessie J has moved her album ‘Who You Are’  forward, following the great success of singles ‘Do It Like A Dude’ and now ‘Price Tag’ ft B.o.B. which is currently at #1 in the UK after the video and single were released together on Sunday. The songwriter took to her Twitter account to announce the good news earlier today:

So…Due to my amazing #heartbeats…Showing so much love and support…Myself @islandrecordsuk and @RepublicRecords have decided that you deserve the album EARLY!!!! Who is ready for the NEW date?? The NEW DATE for #WHOYOUARE my debut album has been bought forward to… 28th FEBRUARY!!! That’s 4 weeks early! That’s like soooon! That’s in like 25 days!!!

This will also act as the rising stars 1st US release, hopefully with a warm welcome as with here in the UK following her Brit Awards Critics’ Choice accolade and mass air play on the national airwaves.

B.o.B.’s debut single ‘Nothin On You’ featuring Bruno Mars scores No.1 with us in the UK singles chart, moving ‘Good Times’ by Roll Deep down to No. 3.

B.o.B is making plans for a new super-group called All City Chess Club.

The group is apparently going to include the crème de la crème of cool, which includes Asher Roth, Lupe Fiasco, Charles Hamilton, J. Cole and more.

According to the Nothin On You hit-maker, this super-group was all Lupe Fiasco’s idea. He told MTV News US: “The All City Chess Club is something that Lupe had the idea about…!!

It brings me great joy to welcome you with this news, for me this song was an instant hit, and I loved it from the very start.

Atlanta rapper B.o.B reached a milestone this week when his single “Nothin’ On You” was certified platinum.

According to a Tweet made by B.o.B’s manager, TJ Chapman, “Nothin’ On You” has sold well over a million copies.

“WOW!!!! It’s official..196,745 sold this wk! B.o.B “Nothin On You” is OFFICIALLY PLATINUM!!!,” Chapman said in a Tweet yesterday.

“It feels GREAT to sell 1,020,861 copies of B.o.B “Nothin On you! Now we just need that #1 SPOT on Billboard! Go #TeamBoB,” Chapman continued.

On top of reaching platinum status, B.o.B’s single has also been in heavy rotation on radio stations across the country. The video for “Nothin’ On You” debuted online last month and is already receiving millions of hits on sites such as YouTube.

B.o.B’s debut album B.o.B Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray will be released in stores on April 27.
