Also a judge on our talent show ‘The X Factor’ – Cheryl beat ‘Transformers’ actress Megan Fox and Victoria’s Secret model Marissa Miller into second and third place respectively.

Colin Kennedy, Editor-in-Chief of FHM claimed the “nation’s sweetheart” was an obvious winner for this year’s poll. He said: ‘After hogging the headlines and dominating TV screens for 12 solid months the nation’s sweetheart romped home for a second successive year, leaving all challengers in her curvaceous wake.’

The Canadian teen sensation was rushed through the terminal building to escape hoards of screaming teenagers, who stole his hat as they stampeded.  He later tweeted: ‘Finally got to New Zealand last night. The airport was crazy. Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on people.’

Justin’s mother wasn’t hurt when she was knocked over, and later tweeted fans to say she was OK.  She wrote: ‘Thanks for all ur support!! I’m ok thank you!!!(sic)’

Police told the singer to axe plans to sign autographs and take pictures with fans amid fear the crowd would get further out-of-control, prompting many of the waiting group to burst into tears. Justin later implored fans to calm down or face other signing opportunities being scrapped.

He tweeted: ‘I want to be able to sign and take pics and meet my fans, but if you are all pushing security won’t let me. Let’s keep it safe and have fun. (sic)’

Hoards of teenage fans also forced the cancellation of a scheduled appearance by the 16-year old star in Sydney, Australia, earlier this week.  Police reported ‘mass scenes of hysteria” and 10 girls fainted as they waited through the night to watch their idol perform. Paramedics treated the injured on the scene, and the worst injury was to one fan who fractured their kneecap.

Usher is on the way to getting married again according gossip blogs, and fathering another child.

Rumours have it that the 31-year-old father of two is engaged to former Def Jam exec, Grace Miguel, 42, who is apparently three months pregnant with his child. Snapped a couple of days ago in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park alongside Usher’s two sons. Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster didn’t seem too happy with the pictures and said on Twitter:

“I thank you all for your confirmation that I’m dealing with a pure bitchass dude. How did this happen? What part of the game is this? Never again.”

In September 2009, In Touch Weekly reported that Usher and Grace were officially a couple and had been dating for six months – and that their relationship caused the Usher’s marriage to end with Foster.

Let’s hope it all sorted out as amicably as possible!

M.I.A delivers a 9 minute epic video for her new single ‘Born Free’. The video which M.I.A herself doesn’t appear in contains nudity, violence, kidnapping and genocide.

Directed by Romain Gavras, the video expresses M.I.A’s political views. MIA has been outspoken about the government of Sri Lanka whose actions she described as systematic genocide toward Tamils. In return, she believes the Sri Lankan government has been pulling strings to make it difficult for her to return from the UK.

Its come to light that Lindsay Lohan has been dropped by movie producers of movie The Other Side as she is reportedly ‘not bankable enough.’

Lindsay was up for film but will no longer be appearing in the delayed production alongside Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi and Alanis Morissette.

Legendary female rapper Salt, from 80s rap duo Salt-N-Pepa, recently said in an interview that she doesn’t think Nicki Minaj has learned the ‘message’ yet, although she does think  Nicki is talented though.

Salt told VIBE Magazine: “She [Nicki Minaj] reminds me of Lil’ Kim. Bold and you know, she’s young. And a lot of people are like ‘Oh what do you feel about her because of the message?’, but to me she hasn’t learned the message yet. Not every-one’s role model material, but we do have a sense of responsibility because kids listen more to us than they would their parents. But [Nicki's] young, so how’s she gonna enlighten?’”

She added: “She’s new, she’s excited and what happens when you have a male camp backing you? Yeah, you might be singing those kinds of lyrics. That’s what happens when you have a male camp dictating how you should be. I’m not mad at Nicki. I think she’s talented. I love her style. She has a lot of attitude; she has a lot of things she wants to express so I wouldn’t be mad at that. I was there at that age, so I don’t expect her to be like ‘Oh let me start being this way.’ This is what she’s feelin’.”

In related news, Nicki has revealed that she is planning to change her vocal style on her forthcoming debut album.

Signed to Young Money, the rapper has said despite being in the early stages of recording her first LP, she plans to surprise fans with the finished outcome.

Speaking to the New York Post, the 25-year-old said: “You know, the stuff that I’ve done – it doesn’t really reflect me anymore, so I want to have an entirely new body of work.”

Soulja Boy is going to be releasing a book entitled Teenage Millionaire to coincide with his new album explaining how he made his money.

Soulja Boy told Billboard.com: “My book is entitled ‘Teenage Millionaire,’ it drops July 28, 2010, the same day my album drops. What really made me write this book is I really just sat down and looked at what I did. I made my first million dollars when I was 16 years old. I came from a place where a lot of people don’t make it out to see the type of things I’ve seen around the world and see the amount of money that I’ve obtained… I just wanna tell all the people how I did it.”

He added: “One of the chapters of my book is called ‘Speaking It into Existence,’” he continued. “It’s something I’ve been doing my whole career. When you think or speak from the non-conscious it happens. When you weed out all the negative thoughts and focus on nothing but what you wanna have it’s so easy to obtain it.”

Currently riding high in the charts with O.M.G, Usher took time out to speak with MTV’s blog The Wrap Up – ahead of the release of his new album Raymond V Raymond.

Usher told The Wrap Up: “‘Raymond V Raymond’ is my evolution, the dichotomy of who I am as a man and as an artist. It is me verses me at the end of the day. Not in any way bipolar or an alter ego, simply the fact that we have two sides to our personalities. It’s the perception of who we are and the reality of what we have to deal with.

“The last two to three years of my life have taught me a lot about myself as a person; becoming a business man, getting married, having children, going through a divorce. And there lies a responsibility, an obligation as an artist that I just can’t ignore. Finding a balance between those two places is what ‘Raymond V Raymond’ is all about.”

Usher also went on to say how proud he is of his young protégé Justin Bieber, but that Jay Sean and Taio Cruz have a lot to prove to sustain!!
